Walking Around at Midnight
I was bored tonight so I took the camera out and snapped a few shots. I think these are like the first night shots I have done since I got here. Oh well.

During the day this is a pretty busy street, but at midnight not so much.

The soil lab. I wonder if those lights mean people are in there working this late?

The Tsukuba International Congress Center. Very important.

Empty pedestrian path and bridge.

I think the manga/Internet cafe is the most happenin’ place in town on a Saturday night.

HID’s look cool on long exposure shots. EVERYTHING has HID’s here, even kei cars and delivery trucks.
That’s it for now. I’m going to try to take random pics for this blog more often.

Very cool shots, especially the 1st and 2nd ones!
staircase shot is awesome.
What doo people do for fun on a friday or saturday night in Tsukuba? Stay in town, or do people head to Tokyo for real fun?
Very, very cool photos!
Nothing happens at a saturday night?!
Damn!
Is it totaly safe to go arround with a camera and tripod alone at night?
Keep it up!
Kewl Photo’s. Especially the Staircase in the Congress building.
There’s no way I could walk around here (South Africa) at midnight without getting mugged…especially with a digital camera.
Are there any parking lot meets that happen on weekend nights where you could take photo’s of the average Japanese guy’s modified car? I’d love tto see the “real” street racing culture that the fast and furious tried to portray…
Thanks
First 4 shots are fabulous! Tsukuba seems to be a really neat and tranquil place, especially so during the night!
Thanks guys. If I have some extra time tomorrow I will go out and get some more shots.
Depending on what your in to, there is plenty of stuff to do in Tsukuba. A lot of restaurants , bars, karaoke joints (my personal fave) etc.
If you wanted to go to a club or some really fashionable places then Tokyo is probably better, but Tsukuba is fine for me.
